Camp Sagemont: Traditional Day Camp

For 3 Year Olds - 3rd Grade

 

9 Single Weeks of Day Camp Offered.
Weeks 6/11-8/10, Camp is closed July 4.
Price for Day Camp: $300 per week.
Early Bird Special: Register and pay in full by 4/15, save $25 per week. (Not applicable for week 4. Shorter week has been pro-rated due to July 4th).

Our main camp program is available for campers from 3 years old through 3rd grade and provides a fun-filled variety of recreational, creative and educational activities.  Campers are bound to have a truly carefree summer that will nurture friendships and healthy physical activity.
 
Children are encouraged to express their unique and special qualities. During a typical day, your child will move from one specialist led activity to another. They will find a balance between indoor and outdoor programs. Swimming is offered as a daily activity by our qualified swim staff. Each camper will participate in activities such as:

Summer Programs That Kids Love

Each week Camp Sagemont is based around a theme with related activities for all campers. Special events will be brought onto campus in reference to the theme of the week. Kids will enjoy a variety of live presentations.  Campers entering 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade will also participate in 4 field trips throughout the summer that may include movies, bowling, laser tag and more.
 
Snacks and the cost of all trips are included.

Swim Lessons
Swim lessons will be offered by The Swim Academy, www.TheSwimAcademy.com. Our on-site full service swim school has over 25 years of aquatic management experience and brings a nationally recognized and successful program to Camp Sagemont. Lessons are unique in that they are completely child-centered as opposed to skill-centered. This means that while the goal for each child is to feel safe and confident in the water, The Swim Academy individualizes each lesson so the child can progress at his or her own readiness or ability level. Lessons are taught on a one on one basis or swimmers can be evaluated to be part of our developmental group lessons or Sea Lions Swim Club.
 
Another upside of swimming is the fact that it is a great exercise tool. Obesity is an epidemic among children today. By learning to swim, and linking that to a love of water and aquatic activities, youngsters can stay trim and fit and have a good and safe time doing it.
