Camp Sagemont provides a fun and safe environment for children to play, make friends, enjoy sports and explore new ideas. The warm relationships encouraged between our staff and campers results in creating an environment of "one big camp family". Sagemont's carefully selected counselors will guide your child through the summer with song, cheer and laughter. This is what great memories are made of!

Camp Sagemont has an exciting list of camp programs including Weekly Traditional Day Camp, Weekly Sports Camp, Weekly Travel Camp, Adventure Camp, Art Camp, Science Camp, CSI Detective Camp, Glee Camp, Stomp It Band Camp, Travel Adventure Camp, Leadership Training, Summer School and ESL.

All Camp Programs: 9:00am-3:30pm
Summer School: 9:00am-12:00pm
Early Care: 7:30am-9:00am
After Care: 3:30pm-6:00pm
EXTENDED CARE
Camp Sagemont provides early and aftercare for those campers who need these services.
Price for Extended Care:
Early Care Only (7:30am-9:00am) $50 per week.
After Care Only (3:30pm-6:00pm) $75 per week.
Both Early & After Care $100 per week.
MEALS & CLOTHING
MEALS : Lunch is NOT included in the camp tuition. Campers will have the option of either bringing their own lunches or choosing from a pre-order/pre-paid menu from Substantial Subs here in Weston. Camp Sagemont will provide pizza lunch on Fridays.
CLOTHING: Please have your camper wear cool summer clothing. Tank tops, t-shirts, and shorts are advisable. Sneakers are mandatory, NO sandals please. Please make sure your camper brings a bathing suit and towel every day. Label all clothing and items that belong to your camper. One camp shirt will be provided to each camper. Additional shirts will be available for purchase. Camp t-shirts are worn for field trips and spirit days here at camp.
Edwin Cruz is a graduate of Kean University (New Jersey), where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation. During his twenty four year career in the recreation field he has worked in rehabilitative facilities, group homes, youth and community centers in New Jersey and South Florida. He has vast experience working with children, adolescents and adults and with recreational program implementation. Before joining the Sagemont team he worked for the City of Hollywood's Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts where he successfully organized and planned summer camps at his assigned community centers. Edwin will now be entering his seventh year as the Camp Director for Camp Sagemont.
Linda Glovsky went to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and she has her National CDA.
Linda is now entering her 16th summer with Camp Sagemont. She started as a Camp Counselor and then was promoted to Lead Assistant Teacher and Assistant Camp Director.
She has extensive experience working with children and vast knowledge in camp programming. Her area of expertise is behavior management.
Our counselors are responsible and caring individuals who help to ensure a safe and fun camp environment. They must have the ability to effectively work with children and be energetic, enthusiastic, creative and responsible. Any prior camp experience is a plus when candidates are considered for employment. Once interviewed and hired, all counselors are required to have a level 2 background check completed and attend mandatory staff training prior to the start of camp. Our counselors are provided with the tools and skills required to ensure that each camper has a fun-filled, safe, and memorable summer camp experience.
Specialists:Our specialists are trained leaders that provide structured activities for our campers throughout the course of a camp day. They must have the ability to plan, organize and implement camp activities that spark interest, creativity, imagination and fun. Any prior teaching experience is a plus when candidates are considered for employment. When hired, specialists are also required to complete a level 2 background check and attend staff training.
Office Staff:Our front office staff members are the front line to customer service that provides parents with camp information and registration. Their friendly demeanor and warm smiles ensure that a parent's particular needs are met with effectiveness and efficiency. They are fully trained to assist you and your children and have also completed a level 2 background check.
Bus Drivers:Our bus drivers are expressly employed by The Sagemont School and Camp Sagemont. All of our drivers are CDL certified and are rigorously trained in safety procedures in addition to having a level 2 background check. Their friendliness and warmth are evident once campers board our buses for field trip transportation.
