Finger/Hand Print Snowmen from the Camp Sagemont Craft Corner

Camp Sagemont is a FUN and SAFE environment that maintains a strong sense of family, where campers are encouraged to develop through new and fun challenges.  Campers are able to broaden their camp experience through unique camp options.

We have something for every camper here at Camp Sagemont. Starting at 3 years old with our Traditional Day Camp, as well as a variety of specialty camps such as Sports, Travel Adventure, Art, Performing Arts Camps, Marine Science and Robotics Camps, Blog Writing and Multimedia Production Camp to list a few. In addition we offer our academically rich Summer School and ESL programs.

Here is a sample of some of the fun we have at our Craft Corner.

Even though we’ll never build a snowman in south Florida, we can still create a snowman family with our hands!

MATERIALS:

  •  Colored construction paper or colored tile
  •  White paint
  •  Sharpie markers
  •  Glitter (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Paint the four fingers and thumb along with the very top of the inside palm below the four fingers.  This will make the snowmen look to be on a patch of snow
  2. Place your painted hand on the paper or tile.
  3. Once the paint is dry, use markers to decorate the snowmen and background.
  4. Add silver glitter to create a feeling of snow falling. (optional)
