The Bunk: Camp Sagemont's Monthly Newsletter

WSI Search Results Dev Team - Wednesday, April 13, 2011
Hello Parents,
This is the latest issue of our monthly camp newsletter. We provide this on a monthly basis to inform you about camp days, summer camp registration, camp open houses and other pertinent camp information.
Please visit our brand new camp website www.campsagemont.com for all of our summer camp information and online registration.
This month’s focus is on Sports Camp and Road Trip Adventure Camp:

Campers get ready to run, jump, dunk and dribble this summer! Sports Camp is offered in 9 weekly sessions which combines the convenience of a day camp with the fun of a travel camp. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in sport skill building techniques, exposure to new activities and lifetime recreation skills. Two weekly field trips are scheduled as well to add to the summer fun.
Sports focuses will include track &field/fitness, tennis/water sports, soccer, baseball/golf, basketball/lacrosse, flag football/badminton, outdoor games/team building, volleyball/ultimate Frisbee, group games, tournaments and camp-wide special events such as Color War and our Splash/Foam Party.
Athletic ability is not a requirement to be in Sports Camp but just the willingness to learn, have fun and make new friends.
A reminder about our brand new Road Trip Adventure Camp for 5th-8th graders during week 9 which runs from August 8th-12th. Campers will be on the road for 5 days on an air-conditioned coach bus visiting various Florida venues. This all inclusive package includes transportation, attraction admissions, hotel lodgings and all meals.

The travel itinerary is as follows:

registration, camp open houses and other pertinent camp information.

  - We would like to thank those parents who took the time to
complete our summer camp survey. Your feedback is very
important to us as we strive to make improvements to our
camp program.
  - This past summer we offered our traditional Day Camp, Art
Camp, Science Camp, Adventure Camp, Sports Camp, Travel

and our Leader In Training Program. A variety of options were
available to suit the interests of our campers. Look for the
return of these programs and other surprises for 2012.
  - Camp Sagemont was voted as Best Weston Summer Camp by
Our City of Weston's Best of Weston!
  - We are now in the early planning stages of preparing our
programs for summer 2012. As more details are finalized, we
will inform you of them in future newsletters.
  - We do offer Camp Days throughout the school year during
Teacher Planning Days and winter and spring breaks.
  - Our next Camp Day will be offered on the next Teacher
Planning Day, Friday, October 28th. Halloween themed
activities will stir up some spooktacular fun such as bewitching
crafts, haunted music, ghoulish games, weird science and
more! Camp hours are from 9am-3:30pm and extended care is
available. Campers must bring their own lunches and we will
provide two snacks.
